Diana Williams has over twenty years’ experience in the art and heritage fields in the UK and South Africa. Diana has had a long-term association with Business and Arts South Africa as founding Director of the business mentorship programme for the arts and then as Education programme Manager.
Diana was also launch Project Manager of ART WEEK Johannesburg. She co-curated the programme with the Visual Arts Networks of South Africa (VANSA).
She joined the Board of the Association of Visual Arts (AVA), the oldest visual arts association in the Cape, in September 2016 and is currently serving as Vice Chair.
At the same time, Diana launched Art Trails, a tour guiding business for tourists and visitors to Cape Town, providing insight into the contemporary art scene.
Diana began her career in the arts field with St Paul’s Cathedral Foundation, spearheading the £40 million campaign to clean and restore the historic building.
